"Stomp Out the Flu" with Your Care!

Your Care will have flu shots available for those ranging in ages from 3 years and up this season.  We are asking everyone to please protect yourself from the flu and get your flu shot this year.

You can catch more than one virus and our concern is that people will get both Influenza (flu) and  Cornona (COVID) at the same time.

Own a business?  Call Deb at Your Care today at 541-548-2899 to schedule your flu shot clinic.  We bill most insurance plans and offer cash pay rates.  There is no charge to the business for this service and will come out for any number of people.

"Do I Need a Flu Shot?"

Flu season is upon us and Your Care is committed to helping you stay healthy. We would rather see you for a preventative shot than with a full-blown case of the flu. Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a respiratory infection that can cause serious complications (even death).  The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends annual flu shots for everyone age 6 months and older. Getting vaccinated each year provides the best protection against influenza throughout the flu season.

Vaccination is especially important for those at high risk of the flu, including:

  • Pregnant women

  • Older adults

  • Young Children

  • People with chronic medical conditions including but not limited to:

  • Asthma

  • Obesity

  • Cancer or cancer treatment

  • COPD

  • Cystic Fibrosis

  • Diabetes

  • HIV/Aids

  • Kidney or liver disease

  • Check with your doctor BEFORE getting the flu shot if:

    • You've had a severe reaction to previous flu vaccination.

  • DO I NEED TO GET VACCINATED EVERY YEAR?

Flu viruses evolve quickly, last year's vaccine may not protect you from this year's viruses.

  • WHEN IS THE FLU VACCINE AVAILABLE?

Coming soon - this fall.  Check back for exact dates (pending CDC release and vendor delivery of vaccinations)
